| Tiziano Vecchiato is the director of the Fondazione "E. Zancan" since 1990. The Fondazione is a centre for research on social, health and educational services. As President of one Section of the Italian National Health Council in Rome (1997-2002) engaged in issues of planning and evaluating health services he collaborated to the National Health Plan for 1998-2000, to the National Social Plan for 2001-2003.
He collaborated to the national reports on health in Italy (1999, 2000) and coordinated the Italian reports on social exclusion (1997, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, forthcoming 2006).
At European level, he collaborated with the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) Section "Employment, Social Affairs and Citizenship".
He is also Associated member of the European scientific association for residential and foster care for children and adolescents EUSARF and vice-president of the International Association for Outcome-based Evaluation and Research on Family and Children's Services.
He is coordinating many research on outcome-based evaluation in different areas of needs (children, families, elderly, disabled, mentally ill people) and in different settings: home care, continuity of care, integration between health and social services. |
