The Fifth International Seminar on "OUTCOME-BASED EVALUATION IN CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES - CROSS-NATIONAL RESEARCH INITIATIVES".

The seminar, initially planned for Paris, has been moved to Italy, near Venice in the following dates: September 19-21, with arrivals on the 18th (by late afternoon) and departures on the 21st (by late afternoon).
The seminar is close to the Eusarf Conference (September 20-24) and this will allow some participants to go to Paris for attending the Conference.

The 2005 International seminar has the following goals:

Goal 1: To monitor and facilitate the implementation of trans-national projects selected by each of the study groups formed at the Abano seminar (2004).
Goal 2: To present and discuss common methods and instruments for evaluating needs and outcomes for particular populations. As an example, Tiziano Vecchiato and Anthony N. Maluccio would be happy to guide a sub-group that will conduct a preliminary work for gathering and classifying instruments and scales and proposes criteria for an International Classification to be presented and validated at 2005 International Seminar of the Association.
Goal 3: To plan for implementation of any other study proposals resulting from our discussion at the 2005 seminar. 
Goal 4: To consider and plan for potential publications by the Association and/or its sub-groups.


All members of the International Association are invited to participate in the International Seminar in Venice and those who did not pay yet the annual subscription are kindly requested to do so as soon as possible. Rates for 2005 are:
- 50,00 euro for individual subscriptions
- 250,00 euro for organisation subscriptions
